Pants!

Burda pattern #6592 in cotton broadcloth

For Christmas I gave my GF a sewing pattern for some comfy pants, and a handmade 'voucher' for me to make them for her. :) We hit the post-Christmas sales and picked up some beautiful, crazy fabrics she just loved and now I'm sewing them up.

This plain cotton broadcloth was an easy fabric to start with. I've never worked with a sewing pattern before! This one was pretty straightforward though, and we're both really happy with the results. Now, on to the next pair!

First finish for 2016! Ninja bunny

Jackson amigurumi by Brenda K B Anderson
Crocheted with acrylic DK yarn, acrylic felt accessories

I had so much fun making this guy. He was part of a class on Craftdaily about making amigurumi, and I really enjoyed improving my skills and learning some new techniques.

I decided to omit the antlers, because no one in Australia knows what a jakalope is. I also added a few ninja-esque accessories to make him more appealing to his intended recipient. :)

I think I'd like to make Little Joe from the same designer.
